Frequently Asked Questions

Everything procurement and engineering teams ask before placing an order.

What steel products can you source and supply in bulk?
Plate, sheet, structural sections, beams, channels, angles, hollow sections, bar and pipe in carbon, alloy and stainless grades. We consolidate multi-item orders from qualified mills into a single shipment to simplify procurement.
Which steel grades and standards do you supply to?
We supply to GB, ASTM, EN, JIS and API standards, including Q235/Q355, S235/S355, A36, A572, 304/316 stainless and API 5L line pipe. Grade equivalence advice is provided when cross-standard substitution is needed.
Can you provide mill certificates and material traceability?
Yes. Original mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1 with heat-number traceability are provided for qualified orders. State your certificate format and traceability requirements at the order stage so they are planned before production.
What is your minimum order quantity for steel supply?
MOQ depends on product type, grade and mill schedule and is confirmed at quotation. We consolidate smaller line items across an order to reach workable quantities and reduce freight cost per tonne.
Do you support third-party inspection on bulk steel orders?
Yes. Inspection by SGS, TUV, BV or other appointed agencies can be arranged when included in the order scope and inspection plan, covering dimensions, surface condition, marking and certificate verification.
Can you handle cutting, processing and surface treatment before shipment?
Yes. Plate cutting, drilling, bevelling, shot blasting and primer or galvanizing can be added so material arrives ready for fabrication. Processing requirements should be stated in the order specification.
How do you manage export logistics and documentation?
We handle export packing, container or break-bulk loading, packing lists, certificates of origin and the commercial documents needed for customs clearance. FOB and CIF terms to major ports are available.
What are your payment terms for steel supply orders?
Standard terms are T/T with a deposit before order placement and balance before shipment. L/C at sight is accepted for larger orders. Terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice before production.
What is the typical lead time for bulk steel orders?
Stock items ship in 1–2 weeks; mill-rolled grades or processed material typically need 3–6 weeks depending on mill schedule and processing scope. Lead time is confirmed at quotation.
