What anti-slip surface patterns do you offer, and how do I choose?
We supply Grip Strut serrated-channel planks and Perf-O Grip diamond-button panels, plus serrated bar grating. Serrated channels shed water and debris well for stairs and inclined walkways; diamond-button surfaces give multi-directional grip for flat platforms. Tell us the environment (wet, oily, icy) and slope, and our engineers recommend the pattern and open area that fit.
What materials and coatings are available for safety grating?
Carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel, and aluminium are all available. Common finishes are hot-dip galvanizing (ASTM A123), powder coating, and mill finish. For coastal C5-M or chemical environments we usually advise 316 stainless or thick hot-dip galvanizing; for clean indoor mezzanines, electro-galvanized or powder coat is enough.
Which load ratings and standards do your grating panels meet?
Panels are designed and load-tested to ASTM E2090 and meet OSHA 1910.23 and EN ISO 14122 walkway and stair requirements. Allowable load depends on panel thickness, bar spacing and support span, so we size each panel to your point and uniform load case and provide the load table with the quotation.
What panel sizes, thicknesses and bar spacings can you supply?
Standard plank widths are 130–600 mm and lengths up to 6000 mm, with channel depths and material thickness selected by load. Custom widths, hole patterns and cut-outs are made to drawing. State your span and load and we confirm the thickness and spacing that pass the load check.
Can you supply stair treads, nosings and platform systems as a set?
Yes. We produce matching stair treads with bent-down front nosing, landing platforms and walkway panels as one system so spans, finishes and fixings line up on site. Bolt-on or weld-on fixing details and pre-drilled holes are prepared to your stringer layout.
What is the minimum order quantity and typical lead time?
Minimum order depends on product type and is confirmed at quotation; sample quantities are accepted for grating products. Standard galvanized panels typically ship in 2–3 weeks, while custom sizes, stainless material or large project volumes usually need 4–6 weeks. Lead time is confirmed before order.
How is safety grating packed and shipped for export?
Panels are stacked, edge-protected and strapped on fumigated pallets or in crates, with rust prevention for stainless and bare steel. We prepare packing lists, container-loading photos and can arrange FOB or CIF to any major port. Packing is planned around weight, destination and transport mode.
What documentation and certificates come with an order?
Material traceability (EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates), dimensional inspection records and coating thickness reports are available on request. Third-party inspection by SGS, TUV or BV can be arranged when included in the order scope and inspection plan.
Can you produce custom or non-standard grating to drawings?
Yes. Send DXF, DWG, STEP or PDF drawings, or even a sketch, and our engineering team prepares the manufacturing drawing and quotation. Custom lengths, widths, hole patterns, surface treatments and packing are all made to specification.
